The Weeping Willow Equestrian Center was founded on January fourteenth, 2024 by Hazel Eris Fields. The WWEC is a repurposed racetrack and a quickly growing equine facility. The WWEC is currently open to public visits from Monday-Friday, 9AM-9PM, however we are not open for any other services, i.e. boarders or lessons. The site will however be updated when needed.
The WWEC facilities are expansive and beautiful, featuring a large racetrack which has been repurposed as a trail used for pony rides and therapy rides. The large outdoor arena provides an expansive space for many riders at a time. There are two large viewing platforms, one contains a small café and a bathroom. They have a small center with a booth containing boots and helmets for riders without them, as well as housing for staff and two food bars for workers or visitors. The center has several picnic tables for those eating or just wanting to relax. The facility includes a large carpark and direct access to main Silverglade roads. Just past the car park are the outdoor barn areas, an outdoor wash stall, a veterinarian table, and three outdoor pastures for horses that prefer isolation. There is a hitching area for several horses so riders can tack and groom easily. Just past the hitching posts is a round pen which is perfect for W/T/C lessons and lunging. Beside the round pen is the large outdoor barn which leads to the indoor barn. The outdoor barn contains seven stalls, a tack room, a feed room, and a door to the indoor barn. The indoor barn has three aisles, each with their own tack room, feed room, and two wash stalls. Each aisle contains 18, 16 x 16 stalls with haynets, water troughs, and feed buckets. The indoor barn contains heating and air conditioning depending on the weather. The outdoor stalls contain heating lamps for the winter and fans for the summer. Past the barn, up a small path, there is a flat area mainly used for gatherings or meetings which contains a small outdoor barn with three stalls and a tack room. This small barn is used for either sick, injured, pregnant, or new horses. Following the trail past the meeting area, the trails are being developed into a cross country course. There is also an owners home by the main fountain. There are three large outdoor pastures just past the main barn.
